Falk Eel Canning is a food company based at Berging in The Osmoor. The company was founded on 7 October 1931 by Rosa Falk and has traded for 39 years.

Falk Eel Canning — Berging — tinned eel, reed-root and preserved goods. The name on the tin is the name on the gate.

Our founder. Rosa Falk, farm labourer, was born at Altwald on 31 December 1881 and died on 2 May 1945.

Our history

The company's books have been kept at Short Lane since the registered office was fixed there, and the timeline below is compiled from them and from the press.

1. 1931 The company is founded at Berging.
2. 1934 Falk Eel Canning lists on the Vellmar Exchange as FLK. In the press.
3. 1953 Brenn & Gilhor, Masons is acquired by Falk Eel Canning. In the press.
